  • Abstract
    In the field of automatic control, the researchers used widely distributed monitoring and controlling system which is consists of host computer and slave microprocessor. This paper introduces the realization scheme of non-weighing type desert plant lysimeter observation system, and the design method of the system hardware and software. The system makes full use of advantages of PIC18 microprocessor that is a low price, a powerful function, a good stability and so on. In the standard of the RS-485 serial communication, this system mainly consists of host computer, a plurality of single-chip terminals and a high precision water sensors, which is a monitoring system that monitor the water demand of desert plant in each period in real-time.
