Abstract :
This article based the income gap between the urban and rural residents´ present situation since the reform and opening up, use the time-series data of urban-rural income ratio and per capita GDP do the ADF test found it is the firstorder stationary sequence, also have the cointegrated relationship. Showing that the urban and rural residents income gap and the economic growth have the long-term stable equilibrium relationship. Establish the urban-rural income gap and economic growth error correction model, the results shows that the error correction term would be adjust the deviation of 18.7 percent amplitude, make the urban and rural residents´ income gap and the economic growth become balance. And make policy proposal. Government making the effective measures to reduce the income gap between urban and rural residents. Also to create a harmonious environment.
