Abstract :
Under market economy conditions, whether the engineering project can be completed and available in the predetermined time, this is not only one of the issues that investors are most concerned about, but also important content of the engineering project management work. However, construction project will be influenced by many complex changeable factors during its entire life cycle. This causes the project progress dragging, and the time limit can´t be guaranteed. This directly affects the display of the engineering project investment benefit. This article raises risk factors that affect duration of the large-scale public construction projects, develops risk assessment index system and relevant evaluation model on the basis of researching for references at home and abroad, and applies principal component analysis for empirical research of Xi´an North Railway Station. Lastly, it proposes corresponding risk reaction measures.
