Abstract
We present a feasibility study for a wake-up receiver of a small mobile tag that can be fitted on a bird and used to communicate with the International Space Station (ISS). The results show that implementing such a wake-up receiver with a significant link margin of 31 dB is possible using a superheterodyne rake receiver with a low power consumption.
