Abstract
The aim of this contribution is to show that electromagnetic theory can be simplified and clarified by geometric formulation. The geometric formulation of Maxwell´s theory accomplished by exterior differential calculus introduces geometrical imagery and supports physical understanding. Exterior differential calculus has simple and concise rules for computation. The objects of exterior differential calculus have a clear geometrical significance and the laws of electromagnetics assume a simple and elegant form.
