Abstract :
This paper introduces the technology development of Astrium GmbH Friedrichshafen Germany in the framework of next generation SAR preparation. The new technology Focusing on the C- and X-band. The new technology contributes to the improvement of system sensitivity and efficiency. Thereby, the imaging capability of the future SAR instrument is upgraded. This paper summarizes the new technology and highlights the system performance improvement.
