Abstract
A novel method for ground moving-target tracking used in multi-channel airborne radar systems is proposed and evaluated by a field experiment and real data. The presented approach is based on an airborne wide area surveillance system which works at scan mode and detects moving targets among ground clutter. The method is capable of tracking moving targets in real time in a large area and relating the information between sequences of time for a certain target. We have successfully applied the proposed method to the real radar system.
