Abstract :
The growth of micro-organisms on a culture medium for the biosynthesis of products is the process of interaction of the individual cell and culture medium. Applying the laws of thermodynamics and mass transfer and energy demonstrates that culture of microorganisms is influenced directly the temperature, pH and concentration of substrate. Implementation of monitoring and management favorable methods of biotechnology processes require the use of biochemical and biological variable. Develop and implement process control systems biotechnology has made remarkable progress. The values of these variables are determined in the laboratory by testing, observing specific sterile conditions using a complex and expensive equipment. This raises the need to use instrumental sensors instead of the “software sensors” or observer status. A state observer is an algorithm for on-line estimation of non-measurable state variables in real time based on on-line measurements of sizes more easily accessible.
