Abstract
The article describes the innovative Glottodrama methodology used in teaching foreign languages to medical students studying Romanian as a foreign language at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Gr.T.Popa”, Iasi, Romania. The experiment was carried out in Romania by EuroEd Foundation Iasi. The learning model has been developed by the “Glottodrama” project co-financed by the European Union under the Lifelong Learning Program and coordinated by the Laboratory of Linguistics of Culturiana Publishing Company, Italy. The project aims to devise courses based on inclass workshops carried out by two teachers, one of language and one of drama, and to motivate students learn foreign languages through challenging linguistic and theatrical activities. The course is uploaded online on the project site. The use of multimedia for training of trainers and students also becomes a wide dissemination channel for the approach.
