Abstract :
Face recognition in an unconstrained environment is still a challenging problem. Variations in aging, partially visible faces, expression, illumination, pose, disguise, and twin faces are considered as basic challenges in face recognition. This paper presents a comparative study of existing 2D and 3D face recognition methods which are suitable to work with in these environments.
