  • Abstract
This document presents an energy simulator developed for the Enerlight project, sponsored by the Spanish Government, Innovation and Science Office (MICINN). The program simulates the installation of a Lighting Smart Grid in order to estimate the energetic saving, economical benefit if any and the CO2 emission saving of the system. Due to its flexibility this simulator can be used for simulating an Eolic or a solar plant, a city lighting grid or whatever setup in between. In order to evaluate a system, all the components have to be mathematically modelled and then merged into bigger subsystems. Another application is presented for the management of a wireless Lighting Smart Grid from a PC using ZigBee technology. XBee Digimesh technology is implemented on the network layer and a DALI base data layer has been implemented.
