Abstract :
We design a Multicores System On-Chip (MPSoC) that uses Network-on-Chip (NoC) as the communication interconnect between the cores. The system is designed to perform parallel coarse-grain data processing. As a comparison, we also build a bus-based system that contains the same number of cores. UVM based cycle accurate test is created to measure the performance of bothsystems and to show the advantages of the NoC interconnect.
