Abstract
A dual-element, dual-band meander-line based printed MIMO antenna system is proposed. The meander line is used to achieve resonance at low band. The antenna system resonates at the low band at 870MHz with an experimental -6dB bandwidth of 75MHz ranging from 830-905MHz. The high band resonance is achieved by a secondary arm connected to the feed line of the meander-line antenna structure. The high band resonance is centered at 2.6GHz with a minimum -6dB bandwidth of 90MHz ranging from 2.56-2.65GHz. The maximum correlation coefficient is 0.31 and 0.12 and the maximum gain is 0.72 and 0.3dB for low and high bands respectively.
