Abstract :
The design of a simple and compact slotted ground plane circularly polarized antenna, is presented. The circular polarized pattern has been achieved through the perturbation of the ring slots and proper optimization of the asymmetry stubs and the slotted ground plane. The antenna is fed by a single microstrip line place beneath the substrate. A better impedance bandwidth of about 1.26GHz is achieved while the 3dB axial ratio bandwidth of 1.01GHz is obtained.
