Abstract :
The input impedance and return loss versus frequency for probe-fed cylindrical microstrip antennas with complex shape patches are presented. It is shown that the antenna bandwidth can be extended due to the complex shape. The numerical results produced with our in-house developed dedicated software are in good agreement with those obtained with general purpose commercial solvers.
