Abstract :
A compact wideband Vivaldi monopole antenna is proposed. This monopole has been derived from a Vivaldi antenna, and due to its broadband behavior, it is capable of operating at LTE bands, as well as at GSM, UMTS, WiMAX and Wi-Fi bands. The monopole is mounted perpendicularly to the ground plane and presents compact size, so it is a good candidate for mobile services in indoor environments or vehicular applications.
