Abstract
High-speed railway has been developing rapidly especially in china not only for the great convenience but also for the considerable profit. However, the current railway mobile communication system offers a low compatibility for trains at the speed higher than 350km/h, due to the Doppler and multipath affections. In order to solve this problem, a frequency and pattern reconfigurable antenna array system is proposed. In this system, a new type of printed dipole array is designed where each element is controlled by a 1-bit phase shifter. By controlling the on-off state of the RF switches on the phase shifter, the antenna array system can effectively decrease the affections of Doppler and multipath caused by high speed mobility.
