Abstract
A strategy for the analysis of the tolerance on the antenna features of simple radiating structures in presence of manufacturing error is proposed. Supposing known the maximum errors on the fabrication tolerances, the arithmetic of intervals and Interval Analysis (IA) are used for determining the lower and upper bounds of the antenna parameters of interest. As representative example, the effects on the values of the impedance of a center driven dipole are evaluated in this work when the length and radius of the wire are known within a given tolerance. Representative and preliminary results are reported to show the behavior of the proposed approach.
