Abstract :
The proposed polarization diversity reconfigurable antenna is composed of square patch and Y-shaped feeding structure. The feeding structure is determined structural symmetry, asymmetry by on/off states of inserted PIN diode at left microstrip line. When PIN diode off, two microstrip line had same length so it indicated linear polarization property by symmetrical feeding structure. The other way, when PIN diode on, one side line length as between the two microstrip line became relatively longer than other side line length and it indicated circular polarization property by asymmetrical feeding structure.
