Abstract
HF RFID array antenna is designed to optimize reading rate at given ranges for multi-tag operation as in smart RFID cabinets and shelves. Major approaches for numerical simulation are reported including (1) models of tags and reader antennas; (2) impedance characteristics and vector magnetic field distributions. Some experimental techniques developed for fast prototyping and tests are shown.
