Abstract
A circularly polarized patch antenna conformal to a cylindrical surface is presented with a simple feed design. The antenna has right handed circular polarization and operates at 2.225 GHz. The antenna is part of the communication system of a sounding rocket´s sub-payload. In order to verify the antenna design with a fast and cost-effective method, inkjet printing has been employed to prototype the antenna, and the measured results agree well with the design data.
