Abstract :
In this paper we propose a slot-coupled waveguide-to-microstrip transition and a waveguide-fed patch antenna at E-band. Both devices are fabricated on Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) substrate with a thickness of 0.1 mm. The bandwidth of waveguide-to-microstrip transition is as wide as 33%, from 62 to 89 GHz. The proposed antenna has a gain of 6.6 dB at 77 GHz, and a bandwidth of 35%, from 58 to 84 GHz.
