Abstract :
The method to localize the radiation integral areas is modified by adding the correction term to weighting values. The authors previously proposed the localization method which local areas and weighting values should be defined by Fresnel zone numbers. Following the previous definition of weighting function, the discontinuous points appear in the distribution of weighting values and would produce the undesired contributions. The correction term is introduced to suppress these. The modified localization method was applied to the analysis of scattering field from a rectangular plate and the validly of it was confirmed numerically.
