Abstract :
Dedicated Short Range Communication Systems (DSRC) guarantee high data rate in the Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) communications. Because of dynamic and a wide range of possible surrounding environments for V2V communications, V2V channel analysis is of interest. In this paper, performance of V2V communications is studied in the highways with considering different configurations of multiple antennas on both vehicles. In selected scenarios, we have assumed a long truck between two cars. Antenna selection procedure is introduced to achieve higher system performance.
