Abstract
This paper presents a new methodology for BAN-OTA testing using a fading emulator with a dynamic phantom. The key to the success of the proposed apparatus is to provide the fading emulator with a proper K-factor that can represent an actual propagation environment under consideration. Hence, experiments for getting the knowledge of K-factor in indoor environments have been carried out. It is revealed that the K-factor changes mainly due to the variations in the direct wave between two antennas caused by the shadowing effects of the human body.
