    The Editor-in-Cheif (EiC) and Deputy EiC introduce 7 new Editorial Board Members (bigraphies are provided) to take the place of the following Associate Editors (AEs) who have ably served from the early days of LES and whose terms expired end of 2012: Tarek Abdelzaher Jose L. Ayala; James Hoe; Ryan Kastner; Rakesh Kumar; Gang Qu; Donatella Sciuto; and Sandeep Shukla.
