Abstract :
This paper presents an iron loss measurement method for the actual stator core. At different manufacturing process, the iron losses are different even at the same level of B because the magnetic properties are different with different residual stress during the different manufacturing process. The iron loss at each manufacturing process is compared. In order to measure iron loss at each manufacturing stage, the inner core method is proposed. In the method, the conventional B and H iron loss measurement is not applied but the proposed e-I method using induced voltage eB of search coil and exciting current I is applied because of non-uniform B distribution along effective magnetic path.
