  • Abstract
Compared to the conventional source current control scheme, the novel control strategy proposed in this paper eliminates the inherent steady error, solves the conflict between filtering performance and system stability and achieves better dynamic response with feed-forward current path. Principle and realization of this new control method are presented. Besides, as the difficulty of maintaining system stability increases with LCL filter introduced, active damping as well as control regulator is carefully designed and applied. Simulation models are built on Matlab/Simulink platform and experimental results on a 20-KVA laboratory platform support the conclusion by achieving a reduction in the THD from 26% to 1.78%.
