Abstract :
According to factors affecting diesel consumption of diesel generating set are unknown or uncertain. Firstly regularity of fuel consumption is analyzed as running time is constantly varying, then a grey system model is established for diesel consumption of diesel generating set which is known as the grey system, using grey system theory for predicting, by means of a GM(1,1) model. Meanwhile, predicted diesel consumption by modeling and moreover compared the differential between predicted and the actual situation. Finally, confirmed that precision of the model is relatively high, and moreover predicted fuel consumption of the generators set in subsequent running by means of this model.
