Abstract :
Based on the existing research on the basis of the expansion to the quality of economic growth, optimizing the economic structure and the development potential for characteristics of the city to develop the connotation of competition ability, and then constructs the evaluation index system of city competitiveness. In order to avoid a evaluation model evaluation of results caused by biased, based on entropy weight TOPSIS and factor analysis on the competitiveness of city development to measure respectively, and then two of the sequencing results of cluster analysis. The results show that two kinds of evaluation methods in the index system for city development potential evaluation results have consistency, but also shows the evaluation conclusions of science and rationality.
