Abstract :
Reasonable evaluation on the development level of tourism economy can provide scientific basis for formulating and implementing tourism development plans and policies. Considering the less statistical data relating to the tourism development and the finite statistic index, this paper adopts a Grey Cluster Method to confirm the evaluation index system of the tourism economy development level in China and establish corresponding whitening functions and divide the region tourism economy development level of 31 provinces in China into 5 classes, such as the most developed tourism economy areas, highly developed tourism economy areas, and so on. Based on the 5 classes, we combine the local characteristics of tourism resources to present some pointed out proposals.
