  • Abstract
We demonstrate a multiple excitation model of sharp ridge nanoaperture to create a small optical spot size with an extremely strong intensity. To verify the multiple excitation condition of the nanoaperture, the simulation is calculated by using three different metallic nanoparticle arrays, aluminium, silver, and gold. The intensity using aluminium and silver nanoparticle array is ~1.7and ~2.3 times higher than that of original nanoaperture. Furthermore, by shifting the location of NP array, the intensity is ~1.2 times and ~1.5 times higher than un-shifted one.
