Abstract :
OpenFlow is a communication protocol which has attracted a special attention in recent years. It is recognized as a very significant for research in the field of future networks. This paper presents methods that can be used to improve and simplify control in OpenFlow networks. One of the most significant achieved targets presented in this paper is separating HTTP traffic in OpenFlow networks. Coordination between all segments of the project is responsibility of presented shell script GUI. It is important to emphasize that this script enables control of OpenFlow environment through graphical user interface. This should ease and speed-up penetration of this protocol to many labs. Bearing in mind that testbed is the base in any research process, this paper also presents OpenFlow test environment created in laboratory of Centre for Telecommunications Montenegro and used to test solutions presented in this paper.
