  • Abstract
    A circuit model is here proposed to characterize grounded arrays of printed patches. This equivalent circuit reproduces the behavior of the structure in a wide frequency range with the only restriction of dealing with single resonant scatterers. Full-wave data is required to build some elements of the equivalent circuit. However, only a reduced number of simulations is needed, in contrast to other available techniques.
