Abstract :
Several improvements of the Biogeography Based Optimization (BBO), have been recently introduced, in order to increase the optimization performances of the standard BBO algorithm, namely MmCnBBO. In this paper we compare the different proposed variations and apply them to benchmark functions and standard electromagnetic problems.
