Abstract :
The paper embarks to design a Variable Structure Control (VSC) strategy to acquire a regulated output voltage of desired amplitude from a stream of cascaded Single Ended Primary Inductance Converters (SEPICs). It reflects a methodology through which it inflicts the elemental nonlinearities and parametric variations to be guided by the sliding surface. The algorithm echoes to reject servo and regulatory disturbances and enjoys an indomitable time response characteristics. It includes MATLAB based simulation results to project its suitability for use over a range of operating loads in specifically configured modes. The results espouse the significant merits of cascaded operation and corner to exhibit its use in emerging applications.
