Abstract
The increasing number of passenger cars, and other vehicles the world meets fuel crisis and also fuel vehicle causes excess pollution. To avoid this problem, we proposed a new system called Fuel Free Vehicle (FFV) for avoiding fuel as a result pollution free environment. Two driving modes are used in this work - charging the HV batteries and direct drive the vehicle if speed exceeds 25 kilo meters. The power generation system is placed at the top of the vehicle. An advanced battery system and drive is integrated through Local Interconnect Network (LIN). The system automatically starts and stops the charging system, eliminating the need for driver involvement. Compared with other vehicle technology, the FFV presented in this paper overcomes the future fuel crisis and environmental problems. Finally performance of FFV including energy consumption, fast charging capability, battery behaviour, and pollution comparison are discussed..
