Abstract :
The ESVS prototype has the following features: ➢ Enhanced and synthetic vision functions are consolidated into a single system for perspective of more simple implementation of combined vision mode; ➢ Enhanced vision is provided by a multispectral optical-electronic system with TV, SWIR and LWIR channels; ➢ Data processing is implemented on VPX 3U modules comprised in open distributed IMA computer platform (IMA crate); ➢ Image enhancement and multispectral data fusion algorithms are implemented for EVS support; ➢ Computer vision algorithms including a runway detection and obstacles detection are implemented for EVS, SVS and combined vision support.
