  • Abstract
    □ The workflow is a guide to the aircraft development team in the elaboration and use of an integrated systems´ model for early validation of requirements and architecture □ Application of the workflow in a real environment made evident the challenges involved in anticipating the integration and validation of the aircraft systems. □ The need for a systematic approach for the integration of systems´ models was made clear and the proposed workflow was considered an effective guideline for that purpose. □ The use of models as central artifacts of the aircraft development requires a cultural change that only occurs when the new paradigm is applied and the results are obtained □ This learning process is unavoidable, and usually takes longer than expected. □ The workflow will be applied in other development programs in the company, gaining from the knowledge obtained in this first attempt, thus increasing the level of maturity of the workflow and the performing teams □ Although the workflow was conceived and applied in the aeronautic context, it can be used in any development program of complex systems
