  • Abstract
This paper proposes computationally efficient method for Time Synchronization in MIMO-OFDM systems while achieving promising performance in a variety of channels. The system followed IEEE WiMAX standard 802.16d preamble structure for performing the time synchronization. Results are presented for White Gaussian (AWGN), Exponential Decaying and Stanford University Interim (SUI) channel models. SUI channel models are more suitable for testing broadband access systems such as WiMax. Bit Error performance curves of proposed technique are compared with perfect time synchronization.
