Abstract :
The field of user experience continues to grow and broaden in scope. Persuasive design is often regarded as the next practice of this field. It acts on insight gained through user research and enables the design beyond the merely functional and usable to create features that change users´ attitudes or behaviors. In this paper, we attempt to discuss persuasive design in the popular field of fitness promotion. We developed a set of 6 persuasion-based design principles intended to encourage people to be physically active.
