Abstract
LTE (Long Term Evolution) is standard developed by 3GPP (third generation partnership project) for providing 3G and 4G services. In LTE-Femtocell networks, macro cells and femtocells in innovative geometry, when coexist, and sharing overlapping frequency band, interference is bound to occur. To estimate effect of such interference and estimate overall capacity of such network is challenge addressed in work. Capacity is used as performance factor, reference to SINR derive from geometry (reuse pattern). In this paper SFR (Soft Frequency Reuse) scheme for interference management is proposed for frequency allocation. Performance of SFR is compared with traditional allocation schemes - Reuse 1 and Reuse 3.
