Abstract :
This paper focuses about the implementation of a secure authentication model for the wireless body area network using the features of biological signals and the process of shared key establishment during the time of configuration. There is a need for a secure online health monitoring system for Wireless body area network, but currently all the system engineered are working with complex key exchange algorithm. Recent researchers have proposed a secure biometric system for WBAN, but there is still a need to improve the security and likelihood prediction of the biometric signal at the receiving end making it more accurate. A system that uses biometric details for security must also be able to provide a predictive outcome at the other end. This paper tries to address these issues of security and likelihood estimation, thereby helping to achieve, more accurate and secure system placed for the online health monitoring scheme using WBAN. Also the security system for WBAN is proposed with low computational complexity for the secure transaction and with high power efficiency using key based cryptographic encryption algorithm.
