Abstract
In 2012, ten years after the original study, we researched this subject for a second time. The exact conditions of the original study were reproduced. We wanted to measure the generational effect. Does the increased use of digital media change the results found in 2002? Are the students as skilled today with hypertext as they are with traditional text? The results showed that the increased use of information technology and communication had no effect on the efficiency of students while searching for information.
