Abstract :
The work presented in this paper addresses the practical considerations of target height finding under low-elevation condition in ground-based 3D radars. A novel method that effectively suppresses the multipath reflections is proposed here to enhance the low-elevation performance of 3D phased array radar system. The performance of our method is evaluated using measured data recorded by an experimental S-band 3D phased array radar.
