Abstract :
A design of eight element end fed asymmetric iris excited centered slotted array antenna is presented in this paper. Mutual coupling effect is corrected by detuning the array elements within its dynamic range, relative to iris design parameters. Improved optimized design proposes -33.53dB of first side lobe level at design frequency of 10GHz and 14.90dB gain is observed. Relative magnitude of field distribution on slot surfaces and corresponding radiated power is also reported as a consequence of optimized design parameter.
