Abstract
Self Adaptive Differential Evolution (SADE) is a popular variant of Differential Evolution (DE) that has the ability to tune its internal parameter online to produce acceptable results. In this work geometry of a nine ring concentric circular antenna array (CCAA) is thinned by vanishing one or more rings from the geometry and simultaneously finding suitable radii of active rings. Care has been taken to preserve the directivity of the array as far as possible.
