The aim of this study was to propose a music recommendation method to be effectively difficult to hear the sound of speech, and to confirm usefulness of the method. For confirm the usefulness of the recommendation method, two experiments were conducted. In this experiment, it was investigated how result of spoken word comprehension test is changed by presenting a recommended musical piece. As a result of this, these musical pieces decreased the numbers of the correct answers of hearing of word. This means that sound of speech became difficult to hear. Moreover, subjects assessed these musical pieces is hard to hear sound of speech. Second, a evaluation experiment was conducted to confirm how be changed task performance, easiness of work, and annoyance of speech by presenting a recommended musical piece. In this experiment, subjects performed calculation task and sentence comprehension task. At the same time, they heard a musical piece and sound of conversation simultaneously. As a result of this, these musical pieces made sentence comprehension task be easy to work. Moreover, these musical pieces reduced annoyance of speech in calculation task and sentence comprehension task. As a result of these experiments, presenting musical pieces chosen by recommendation system is hard to hear a speech. However, subjects tended to assess that these musical pieces are annoying. Therefore, for using this system into practice, this tendency has to be improved.
