Abstract :
The authors have previously developed the myoelectric prosthetic hand that has thumb opposition and passive extension/flexion mechanism based on the prosthetic hand users and medical experts. In this paper, introduces the prosthetic hand that has a human-like appearance and further weight reduction and the newly developed artificial skin. The experimental results of hand control measured by surface electromyogram are also presented.
