Abstract :
An APEX-Deep profiling float, designed to repeatedly profile to depths of up to 6,000 meter, has been constructed and tested by Teledyne Webb Research. The profiler has also been deployed in the Puerto Rico Trench, successfully reporting scientific data from depths of over 6,000 meter.
